Non, mais il connaissait les liens entre AQ et les talibans à l'époque, et d'ailleurs des experts US avaient averti Bush de la nécessité de soutenir Massoud contre les talibans quelques mois avant le 9/11.

Pour AQ c'était un ennemi de l'état islamique et il a été tué par une cellule djihadiste venant principalement de Belgique.
